Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Sunday embarked on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he would engage in high-level meetings and signing strategic agreements aimed at boosting Georgia's economic development.
In the framework of his visit, Kobakhidze will meet Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, and the Minister of Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan to discuss bilateral cooperation and strengthening relations.
Meetings are also scheduled with major UAE entities, including EMAAR. A memorandum of cooperation will be signed with the development giant to facilitate a multi-billion-dollar investment in Georgia.
Discussions will focus on the Tbilisi Dry Port project, set to be completed in 2025, expanding cooperation in logistics and transportation under the Middle Corridor initiative.
