"They plan to build two Arab cities in Georgia. In Tbilisi and Gonio, two enclaves will emerge on nearly 800 hectares. This is the size of Amsterdam’s city center or Manhattan in New York. The announced price is something only Arabs can afford, as it is impossible for Georgians today. Through this deal, we will get two populated Arab satellite cities in Batumi and Tbilisi.
The state has no role as a shareholder in a private development company. There is reasonable suspicion that we are dealing with a corrupt deal or, to put it plainly, Ivanishvili’s Arab scam! Therefore, the contract with the Arabs must be made public immediately!
I say directly: this project, in its current form, contradicts Georgia’s national security interests!

FM meets newly appointed Greek Ambassador to Georgia

Georgia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili held an introductory meeting with Greece’s newly appointed Ambassador to Georgia, Sotiria Theoharidi.
