Georgian Interior Minister, Chinese Public Security Minister discuss cooperation

As part of his official visit to China, Geka Geladze, Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, held a meeting with Wang Xiaohong, the Minister of Public Security of China. 

The officials discussed ongoing cooperation between law enforcement agencies of Georgia and China, highlighting the importance of sectoral reforms, joint projects, and the exchange of information and expertise within the framework of police collaboration.

Geladze emphasised that the Georgian side was ready to further enhance cooperation with Chinese counterparts, ensuring that existing mechanisms become more flexible and effective. 

Both parties also expressed readiness to implement initiatives aimed at sharing best practices and strengthening institutional experience.

Geladze thanked Minister Wang for the partnership and extended an invitation for him to visit Georgia on an official return visit.
