Arab investments will boost job creation, economic development - Georgia’s ruling party Sec Gen
Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of Tbilisi and Secretary General of the ruling Georgian Dream party, on Sunday said that large-scale Arab investments in Georgia would play a major role in job creation and the country’s overall economic growth.
In his remarks, Kaladze emphasised the importance of high-level visits, including the recent visit of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, calling it a significant event for Georgia.
“It is not by chance that such a high-level visit took place in Georgia. These types of meetings are very important. You know that we are talking about a USD 6 billion investment in our country - in Tbilisi and the Adjara region. This is an unprecedentedly large investment that has been made in Georgia so far, and it is welcome”, Kaladze said.
“Of course, this investment will contribute to the creation of new jobs and the country’s economic development, and all of this will only have a positive impact on us”, he concluded.
