Ambassadori Island Batumi Presents Innovative Project and Georgia’s Strategic Investment Potential at MIPIM 2026

news image

From March 9 to 13, at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, the “Ambassadori Island Batumi” team will showcase a development of historical significance at The Global Urban Festival, which envisions the creation of two artificial peninsulas and one artificial island within the Black Sea.

The development follows sustainable and smart city principles to establish new urban standards for the region. Currently, over 50% of the land reclamation work is complete, with 48 hectares of the total 84-hectare project area already successfully formed.

“The project is expected to play a major role in shaping the future of Batumi and increasing the region's international profile. Participating in this exhibition is part of an extensive information campaign to introduce global audiences to the unique investment opportunities within the project and Georgia as a whole,” said the CEO of “Ambassadori Island Batumi.”

Throughout the festival, company representatives will engage in various business programs. At a multifunctional stand, they will provide detailed information regarding investment opportunities on the island to interested parties.

The event will include a formal presentation of the island where partners, investors, and industry experts can receive direct answers regarding the potential of the development.

“Ambassadori Group” is executing the island project in partnership with leading international firms. These collaborators include the global engineering firm Arup, known for its global urban planning expertise, the architectural and engineering company Yüksel Proje, and the American architectural firm SHoP Architects.
